Bio of Pastor T.J. Denson

Associate Pastor T.J. Denson, Jr.

Associate Pastor T.J. Denson, Jr.

Thomas James, known to many as T.J. Jr., is the first born of Pastor T.J. and Shirley Denson.  He and his family moved to Texas from Kansas June of 1979.  Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the leadership of Pastor and Sis. D, T.J. accepted the call into the ministry at age 13, on May 25, 1986.  He preached his first sermon entitled, “Hold On To Your Faith”, and was licensed to preach the Word of God.

During his years as a minister, T.J. has worked in many areas of ministry and now serves as Associate Pastor.

He has learned how to be a servant and encourager in the faith and most importantly, how to support the vision of the church.  The greatest thing in ministry for T.J. is the giving of his time to help bring about a change in someone life; to preach the good news of the gospel, winning souls for the kingdom and having words of encouragement to the body of Christ.

He is married to Sheneé and has two children, Gabbie and Christopher.

Assistant Pastor Ernest Edwards

Associate Minister Ernest Edwards

March 19, 1961 in Lake Providence, Louisiana, Ernest was born the youngest boy
to parents Willie and Marie. As a young boy, Ernest discovered his passion of
teaching Sunday School, not knowing that it would one day lead to the greater
passion of preaching The Gospel and mentoring and discipling many.

Ernest became a devout member of Macedonia (then Baptist Church) in 1982
under the leadership of Pastor TJ Denson. During his time at Macedonia, Ernest
has served in the following ministries: The usher board, The President of junior
ushers, Director of Sound Ministry, Director of Worship, family outreach ministry,
prison ministry, FOREVER a Sunday School Teacher, and he currently serves as
Assistant Pastor and director over the Men’s Ministry of Macedonia. Before
accepting his calling to ministry in 2007, Ernest and his wife Linda both faithfully
served as a Macedonia Deacon and Deaconess for 25 years.

Ernest currently resides in Flower Mound, Texas with his “Honey” of 39 years,
Linda. He’s the proud father of Don (now with Jesus), Elizabeth, and Darlise. He is
the proud father-in-law to Monique and Frank, and the PROUDEST grandfather to
Naomi and Noah.

And though he his journey in Christ is ever growing and maturing, the legacy of
ministry, loyalty, and passion Ernest has maintained thus far, is presently being
carried out by his children. And THAT has been his greatest ministry to date.
